Belgian Waffle Cookies

Recipe submitted by the Lee family from Holland, MB


3 eggs
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
½ tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp almond extract
3 cups flour
1 cup or ½ block of butter


Mix all ingredients together and put in the fridge for 1 hour, then roll into balls. We roll about 1 Tbsp into a ball.

Place the balled dough into the cookie press — we use a Pizzelle Pro — and count to 20. Voila, your cookies are ready!
