Cinnamon Buns

1 pkg (2 ¼ tsp or 7 g) of quick-rise yeast
1 cup (250 mL) warm water
1 cup (250 mL) scalded milk, 1% m.f.
1/3 cup (80 mL) canola oil
¼ cup (60 mL) white sugar
1 tsp (5 mL) salt
2 eggs
5 cups (1.2 L) flour

2 Tbsp (30 mL) cinnamon
1/3 cup (80 mL) soft margarine
1 cup (250 mL) brown sugar

2 cups (500 mL) whipping cream
1 cup (250 mL) brown sugar
½ cup (125 mL) butter

Mix dough ingredients in a mixer, using dough hooks until dough is light but not sticky, or mix by hand in a large bowl. Let dough rise until doubled in size.

Make Goo, by boiling the Goo ingredients together for 3 minutes. Place Goo in the bottom of sprayed pans.

Roll out dough, spread filling (margarine, brown sugar, and cinnamon) on it. Roll up dough and cut into desired width, place in pan.

Let cinnamon buns rise until doubled in size.
